Itinerary
Day 01 — Arrival in Skardu, Kachura Lakes, Shangrila Resort & Soq Valley: Airport pickup, scenic drive to Upper Kachura Lake, visit Lower Kachura Lake and Shangrila Resort with its famous airplane café, then explore Soq Valley. Check-in at Al Noor Starlet Hotel Skardu.
Day 02 — Shigar Valley, Sarfaranga Cold Desert & Blind Lake: Full-day excursion to Shigar Valley including Sarfaranga (Katpana) Cold Desert with golden sand dunes, Blind Lake, and traditional Balti villages. Return to Al Noor Starlet Hotel Skardu.
Day 03 — Basho Valley Forest & Meadows Adventure: Full-day excursion to Basho Valley with pine forests, waterfalls, and green meadows surrounded by snow-covered peaks. Note: 4x4 jeep ride is NOT included. Overnight at Himalaya Hotel Skardu.
Day 04 — Skardu Bazaar Shopping & Airport Drop-off: Explore Skardu Bazaar for handicrafts, gemstones, traditional caps, shawls, and dry fruits. Transfer to Skardu Airport for return flight.

Skardu
The capital of the Gilgit-Baltistan region, located at approximately 2,228 meters above sea level on the banks of the Indus River. Skardu serves as the gateway to some of the world's highest mountains, including K2, Broad Peak, and Gasherbrum. Surrounded by towering peaks, ancient forts, and serene lakes, Skardu is famous for its raw natural beauty, Balti culture, and high-altitude landscapes. The city has its own airport with direct flights from Islamabad, making it accessible for shorter trips.

Upper Kachura Lake
Located about 32 kilometers from Skardu at an altitude of approximately 2,500 meters above sea level. Known for its crystal-clear turquoise water surrounded by rocky cliffs and pine trees. The lake is around 70 meters deep and offers a peaceful, photogenic environment ideal for relaxation and photography. Boating facilities are available for visitors.

Lower Kachura Lake (Shangrila Lake)

A historic valley located approximately 32 kilometers north of Skardu at an altitude of around 2,400 meters above sea level. The valley sits along the Shigar River and offers stunning views year-round.

Sarfaranga Cold Desert (Katpana Desert)
